Wedding Veil FAQs: Lengths, Delivery and Returns
About Aaisle
-
Aaisle is a UK online bridal veil brand. We design romantic veils in lace, mantilla, pearl, blusher and drop styles, dispatched within 1–2 working days, so you can try your veil at home with your dress and return it if it isn't the one.
-
Yes. Aaisle was previously known as Bryde. We're the same team and the same veils under a new name, so if you've seen reviews or posts mentioning Bryde, they're about us.
-
We're based in the United Kingdom, and we ship to brides all over the world.
-
ecause choosing your veil should feel joyful, not pressured. Most veils are made to order and can't be returned, so brides commit months ahead without ever seeing the veil against their dress. We want you to have the freedom to try it at home, in your own lighting, with your own gown.
Choosing your veil
-
All of our veils are made in a soft off-white, which complements most white, off-white and ivory gowns. We chose it because pure white can appear quite sharp in wedding photos. Because tulle is sheer, it softens into the colour of the dress beneath it. You can always try your veil in your own lighting against your dress before the big day.
-
Each veil is made from soft, lightweight tulle, chosen for its delicate texture and elegant drape, so it floats effortlessly alongside you as you walk.
-
We only use metal combs or metal clips to ensure your veil fits securely and comfortably into your hairstyle. Metal attachments are both durable and discreet, giving you peace of mind that your veil will stay in place throughout the day.
-
Our mantilla veils are £130 and our drop veils are £200. Every price includes the cotton pouch, gift box and complimentary UK delivery. Bespoke veils are priced individually.
-
It comes down to how each veil is cut and where it sits. A mantilla is a single layer of tulle edged all the way round in lace, worn on the crown so the lace frames your face; it doesn't cover the face. A drop veil is one continuous piece of tulle with no gathers at the comb, placed over the head so it falls softly in front of your face and down your back, then lifted back during the ceremony. A blusher veil has a short front layer, worn over the face and lifted for the reveal. Choose a mantilla to frame your face in lace, a drop veil for a sheer, seamless look, or a blusher for a traditional reveal.
-
Keep your veil in its protective bag or box, hung or laid flat in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Avoid folding it tightly to prevent creases.
-
The bridal veil is one of the oldest wedding traditions, dating back thousandsof years.
Over time, the veil evolved from a symbol of protection to one of romance and mystery.
Today, the veil remains a timeless statement of beauty, individuality, and tradition — whether you choose a classic cathedral length or a modern minimalist style, it’s a piece that connects every bride to centuries of love stories.
-
Most of our veils come in three lengths: floor (200cm), chapel (250cm) and cathedral (300cm). Each product page shows the lengths available for that veil, with videos so you can see how each one falls.
-
Our veils have a soft width of around 150cm or grand with of 300cm which gives a full, flowing drape. The exact width is listed on each product page.
-
We offer blusher, classic, pearl, lace, mantilla and drop veils. Mantillas frame the face with lace; drop and blusher veils can be worn over the face for a traditional reveal.

Wearing & caring for your veil
-
Every Aaisle veil has a concealed curved metal comb with delicately flexible teeth that mould to your hairstyle, for a secure and seamless hold. Slide it in with the curve facing your head, then cross two bobby pins over it for extra hold.
-
Hang your veil and let gravity do the work, ideally from the satin tag on the comb, in a cool, dry place. If you're short on time, hang it in the bathroom while running a hot shower for 5–10 minutes, or use a handheld steamer kept moving at 15–30cm (6–12 inches) from the tulle. Never iron your veil, as it can permanently damage the fabric.
-
Keep it in its cotton pouch or gift box, hung or laid flat in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Avoid folding it tightly, which can leave creases.
-
Our Veil Care Guide has full instructions for steaming, storing and travelling with your veil.
